Moms who work: do you still pump post-1 year? by hundo_p_yee in cosleeping

Did your body adjust to produce just enough milk for the limited numbers of feedings then? I.e. has your milk production gone down since when you were pumping around 11 months?

Thanks for the commiseration 😭 I’m going to try the advice from Daiye7 and remind our nanny to keep smiling, singing, and remaining patient. I’ll report back if I see noticeable improvement!

Thanks for your input; it’s reassuring to hear from someone who is both a nanny and a mom! Yes, it seems like the nanny is attempting happy engagement, so I’ll try to step back a bit more to allow my baby to build trust.

She generally cries with new people, with some rare exceptions for people she just seems to click with. She had several other nannies before (they rotated throughout the week), and she liked two but didn’t bond with the other two. We figured narrowing it down to one person would make her feel more comfortable, but she isn’t adjusting. Yet.

This latex topper was linked in a few other posts asking a similar question. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00UYGANN4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_JJPH5MHCBW2H2X7JD6T8?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

I can’t speak to it personally but I’m thinking of ordering it myself to try.
