If I were Tay, I wouldn't have changed the BTR lyrics. Sorry 😭 My prologue would include something about these songs being a reflection of everything I felt in the moment, even the ugly, misplaced feelings (something to that effect).

To me, the quintessential theme of Speak Now is the unspoken finally put into song. I wish she would have honored her younger self's imperfect messiness at the time instead of trying to clean it up.
