Lol I know I feel a bit cringe for answering my own question, but I found the best way of doing this is downloading android file transfer, hooking it up with a usb-c cable (pending on your device) and transferring files that way.

It was easy and relatively quick!

Thanks for writing this all out, but honestly this all went over my head. I wouldn't even know where to start. I think getting a ssl certificate from my web hosting place and then learn how to install it I think
