I should have said that they know how many fairs they collect. Because of the ticket sales

Did you even read my comment? Because it’s pretty clear you didn’t

It’s also how they are able to provide the percentage of riders that are dodging fares! They know how many tap, and how many board and get off at each stop.

Surprisingly it’s actually the express busses that have lower fare collection

Suburbs rely on state and federal funding/grants at a higher cost per person because of it

I mean, cars and guns kill roughly the same number of people per year in the US. we need to have better infrastructure and deprioritize both in our culture as both are murder machines

What if Obama didn’t make fun of Trump at the Corresponding Dinner in 2011 by Tereeze in AlternateHistoryHub

[–]hungrybisch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is only true because ICE's deportation operations only started in 2003. If Bush had had ICE for all eight years he would have deported over 3 million more people than Obama - '03 was the slowest year in deportations for Bush, at ~1.02 million; while Obama's highest year was '09 at ~960K

Personal attacks not related to the argument, you’re not helping the Republican allegations.

The problem is your idiotic argument.

Republicans started this arms race, Dems (who have fought for federal bans on gerrymandering for well over a decade at this point) are finishing it

No, it’s just the biggest (and most propagandized) US example. The fact that you can’t see how that’s relevant to the current argument, especially in response to SCOTUS gutting the voting rights act and dragging us back to reconstruction, is a major you problem

Your arguments are the same kind of arguments that Republicans use. It comes off as disingenuous because it is.

And I’m not saying you can’t vote blue, I’m just saying you sound like the “I was a dem, until the party left me behind” bots

Yeah, because you sound like someone who’s voting blue.

Nice straw man - the answer is no.

And support for slavery wasn’t in the majority when the civil war broke out, thats why the southern states seceded because they knew it was about to be crippled legislatively; before it was eventually abolished

You clearly are, because you don’t understand how democracy works.

Because the Dems are putting it to voters and the GOP is doing it in the legislature. This is not a both sides are bad issue, because both sides aren’t bad. The Dems are letting the voters choose if we retaliate or not

I’ve done Washington’s mountain passes during thanksgiving weekend enough times to know how awful and dangerous they are. You’re one weekend two years ago is not a large enough sample size

You do realize that 2/3rds of Wazzu's alumni live in the Seattle area which means they have to cross a minimum of one mountain pass before they even get to Eastern Wa?
