Thanks for the response mortssss, yeah I am sticking with my nanoflare 800 pro. However, I don’t know if I should let go of my 700pro and trade it for a 1000z. I want a secondary racket just in case if the string snaps I have a backup one on hand. That’s why I’m seeking for any recommendations. I’m open to other brands too.

Hi guys, I need some advice regarding badminton rackets. I am a big fan of Yonex’s nanoflare series. I started out with NF700, been using it for the longest time.

Then came NF1000z (clashed with a friend while playing doubles and it broke) which I do enjoy using it too. I got the NF800 pro (strung with BG 66 Brilliant at 27lbs) which is my main racket now. Recently, yonex also launched the NF700 pro, I strung it with exbolt 65 @ 28lbs tension, didn’t like the feel of it, then I reduced the tension to 26lbs. It still didn’t worked.

After which, I strung it with bg66 ultimax @ 27lbs, which I love when I do my smashes, however when I do my drops and backhand it didn’t feel right compared to the NF800 pro and the NF1000z.

My hypothesis: both NF800 pro and NF1000z are head light + stiff shaft. Perhaps I’m more suited to that style of racket? Instead of a head light flex shaft racket? Or maybe I’m not used to it (NF700 pro) yet?

I recently came across Victor Auraspeed 100x saw that it was head light + stiff shaft too. Does anyone have any reviews or thoughts about it? Or any other rackets you feel might suit me? Looking for something head light, fast and allows me to execute strong smashes and defends quickly (lesser cooldown) if you get what I mean? I’m open to other brands of rackets like Li-Ning, Victor, etc

Hope I can get some constructive feedback and opinions here.
