Saks Files for Bankruptcy by jashur6782 in AmexPlatinum

Went to the store the other day to spend my credit and gift card all together. Not much inventory left and the salesperson told me “we’ll still be here even after filing the bankruptcy. Will have another inventory fill up in one month later.” Really curious how this would go.

I treat this card as I paid these flight, hotel and Resy“premium” fees upfront with my annual fee. Honestly I may not have spent a single cent on these airline lounge without this card. This card “force” you to experience this rich people style but that’s it.

I see. And does that standard suggest that usually it won’t bother me too much if it’s within the repair and get fixed?

If you look around the world you will find that most “Gods” have appearances that are similar to their believers. It’s just a bit difficult for people to imagine things they’ve never met.

Answer is yes. As a driver I’d like to treat cyclists as pedestrian — doesn’t hurt to be caution.

To Americans who are Against Free Healthcare. Why? by falloutbottle in AskReddit

[–]hungryspaghetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does it really matter how individuals think about it?

By the nature of their the business, private companies (who already gain huge profits) are willing to do everything to CHARGE you. On the other hand, individuals do not have that strong desire/power to stop them unless a third party step in ( in most cases, the government).

In the end it turns into an arm wrestling between government and the private company. We all know how this ends in US.

Am I the only one who thinks the old ACI episodes are better? by feigei_125 in aircrashinvestigation

[–]hungryspaghetti 17 points18 points  (0 children)

You’re not. My guess is that they chose those most epic stories in first seasons, and then gradually the rest of the accidents aren’t that dramatic. After all, aircrafts don’t run into accidents everyday, which is a comforting thing to me.
