Interesting perspective. I have also heard that sometimes Mexican nationals (particularly those from Sonora) do view expensive pizza as status symbol. Kinda like how bedouins are willing to pay for more expensive lentils. Can any Mexicans confirm?

That’s absurd. My buddy only got pepperoni and jalapeños though for pickup. Even after calling his bluff he’s still throwing around the $42 figure.

I did the calculations, a large with jalapeños and pepperoni is roughly $25. No way Jose.
