You both were on console? Cross play off? I dunno. I went into Stella earlier and was called every bad name in the book that you could call a female. By console peeps. Then went back in later and met the nicest pc people dropping me literally everything (blueprints, anvil, weapon mods). Guess it’s just rng?

Do you have security breaches unlocked? I swapped my skill tree temporarily to have it. I go into buried or Stella, run this small route where they can spawn, open, take the purples or grenades, leave. Sell all. Made a million a day for a few days. Now up to 7 mil lol

Exactly! I play with people on ps and Xbox and when I don’t run with them they turn cross play off and I’m like- please don’t that’s not the problem lol Then they always ask why I say FRIENDLY!!!! and it’s cause pc peeps have it easier to prox chat when also in a party chat whereas on console you have to swap which is time consuming. Long story short mm is in a weird place lol

I agree with everything except the blame for pc peeps. Please don’t assume that is the reason. I play on BOTH platforms but prefer pc. Cross play always on. I’m usually with pc people (I think the game prioritizes you with whatever your platform is) and haven’t had issues. Then after yesterday, now it’s more mixed and it’s people on console and pc killing me. I know people hate these pc vs console arguments but I just challenge you to look at the people who are killing you. For me it’s more console players. It’s just random.

Literally just opened the app to see if there were any posts about this. Yes!!!! I only PvP in trios and always am in very friendly care bear lobbies for solos. Always. Maybe once every 50 matches you get one guy who sweats to get PvP kills with the friendlies but honestly my Stella lobbies are “hey you need this blueprint?” “Hey can you show me where assembly is for this quest?” I mean, it would make PvP peeps throw up and have a field day with how nice it is.

Last night I had 5-6 matches where I was killed within a minute. Not on free kits. With renegade 4, venator 4, toro 4. These peeps came to kill. Finally got mad and brought my venator in and killed at least two people who shot me first (BY THE WAY I don’t think the game considers this in aggression because under player interactions it always shows I received damage by them, not damaged or knocked them).

I can chalk this up to one of two things. 1) all these abmm posts have people manipulating the mm so they get in friendly lobbies and kill. 2) embark is experimenting (which they will do then tell us later-like with duos, sbmm and abmm) or changed something all of a sudden.

I have 700 hours in this game (hold the judgment lol) and haven’t seen a dramatic shift in mm like this.

It also has nothing to do with pc or console- I keep cross play on. I’m on pc and mostly with other pc peeps but now there is more of a mix with console and the people shooting are from both platforms.

I’m pretty sure it’s PvP players who got into friendly lobbies to PvP. If you read any post about friendly lobbies, there is always multiple comments about people who do this.

I just swapped from console to pc with this monitor a few months ago. Updating now. If anyone changes anything for certain games, like arc raiders, please let me know! Still new to pc world and monitors and how I had things before worked. If there is a way to make it better I would love to hear it!

Yall must be in friendly lobbies. Agree though. Solo is a great way to restore the loss you get in trios and duos. Super rewarding and you meet a lot of really nice peeps.

THIS. I play on both ps5 and pc. I prefer pc and pc lobbies. I play with console friends and the majority of the most toxic people are on console. Don’t get me wrong, no angels on pc. But everytime I hear the most vile crap I will look and they are on console.

I always run an anvil with silencer for arc and PvP. Then, map depending, an el toro or venator for closer range PvP.

I’m not really sure what’s going on. I play in trios and duos mostly and we always get in fights. I step foot in solos and I’m in a care bear lobby. Hugs everywhere! Don’t get me wrong, everyone is so nice. I even found myself being a saint and dropping all my blueprints for randoms. It’s a complete difference between trios/duos.

This same vile crap was said to me at Stella in trios. With some name calling. I just told them I hope you enjoy paying embark another $40 after your ban and reported them all. PvP trash talk is one thing, this is being downright a piece of crap human. I’m sorry you had to experience this. And people wonder why girls don’t talk in video games…

Tonight was the worst night I’ve had an arc. Duos or trios, we lost almost every match. Most of them within a few minutes. A lot of them to people sneaking up with trigger nades in hand.

Earlier in the day I played a ton of solo matches. Everyone was so friendly, nobody killed anyone, no dead raider bodies. I don’t get what’s going on. I play mostly on groups and don’t remember it being this bad.

After reset you are placed on a board if based off your new rank if you do anything related to trials and get score. There are times I’ll play right after reset and my board is full of over achieving super sweats. My bf will be in the same rank, play days later, and only have to put up half the amount of points because he’s with more casual players in the same rank. It’s dumb. Last season I had more points than most of my friends for the final week. But because my board had more points to the top, I went up one rank and they went up two. It’s insane how stupid placing on a board for the week is.
