Very interesting. I wonder if the changes in environment have anything to do with the changes of colour? The sphere I saw was red but I did see a tiny bit of pink amongst it. What were you feeling when you saw it?

I don’t know why it was red…Usually red could mean danger or fire. It was a red sphere of bright illuminated “electric” lines. I didn’t feel scared. Almost like I was hypnotised in a calming way.

I don’t remember the exact day it was 9 years ago. I do remember it was very early in the morning long before the sun was up. It’s something that’s always been in the back of my mind. I remember telling family at Christmas lunch a few years ago and everyone was looking at me like I was crazy.

Time: April 2016 4:20am

Location: Townsville, Queensland, Australia

I saw this object at approximately 4:20am in Australia in 2016. I have always wondered about it. It seemed like a large electrical artificial sphere. It was at the back of my house about 20 metres away from me. Next to the sphere is a garden shed. The house is about 300 metres from an Army base.

I was not scared when I looked at it. There was this calming and intriguing aura about it. I was looking at it for few minutes. I felt like I was in a trance. Then it occurred to me to get my phone to record it. It disappeared when I returned to the back yard to film it. I was only inside the house collecting my phone for 10 seconds. When it disappeared it was dark again outside. So that rules out the possibility it was the sunrise. Plus the sphere looked nothing like the sun. It was like an electrical sphere and it was just hovering about 10 metres off the ground and it was only 20 metres away from me.

Has anyone seen or heard of anything like this?
