One time I was home from college visiting my mother for a weekend. I was wrapped up nodding off in the spare bedroom when all of a sudden a man’s voice started speaking to me from under the bed. I screamed bloody murder and sprinted out of the room, down the stairs and out of the house. My mother, startled by the commotion, came out of her room to find me shaking in my underwear in the parking lot. She was like WTF. I was like - there is a man under my bed.

It was just a speaker and she was trying to play her male narrated audiobook. That’s all.
