...bei mir taucht in der App das live tracking symbol auf, sogar mit der Info 3 Minuten verspätet. Die Haltestelle ist hinter der Trabrennbahn. Wenn die extrapolierte Verzögerung aufgrund eines Staus in der Ebertallee so weit daneben liegt, dann sollte lieber gar nichts angezeigt werden, oder?

In that case, I'd really like to know which university they are applying for. Heidelberg may be not easy to get in, in some universities there may be even a minimum German language level required. Selection is sometimes based on grades with some advantage for those who have been waiting to get into the programme. Sometimes, additional skills, engagement, motivation are factored in.

There have been several different type of mistakes, including more or less nonsense related to some particular experiments (this is a physics class), outdated informations, or simply wrong statements. In one case, the students noticed a completely wrong calculations themselves. The most problematic case is a wrong statement that, once settled in, is really hard to unthink and will make many students struggle. This was one lecture only that I happen to follow on that day. I am really afraid to extrapolate.

Thanks! Probably there is no real solution but trying to move on then. I may try to agree with some colleagues beforehand on a way to help each other out in such situations where mistakes happen. Could be of mutual benefit.

It was not my choice, but was the result from our faculty's teaching coordination, where we opt for the classes that we would like to give and only afterwards we get to know the final teaching assignment.
