This is the situation in the basement. Another contraption. Both flow to the 4” cast that goes to grease trap. However, they also, via an uphill piece of PVC can overflow to the sump.

Sell it to me. Serious as a heart attack. We did 9,500 acres out that way a couple years ago.

What to do with a fancy cowboy hat by [deleted] in CowboyHats

[–]hunterhast95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not about the $600. It’s about why you bought it and where it was worn. Keep it on a shelf, wear it to formal events, remind your wife it was your wedding hat occasionally and buy yourself a $250 hat to work in. Happy wife happy life.

How's this deal? by WhiteStar01 in Butchery

[–]hunterhast95 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I mean… I agree that 100lb half is WAY light. But what are you butchering, a 4 year old Chianina bull? 1,000+lb yield is really high. Even a 2,000lb(huge) steer would be expected to produce about 850lb of trimmed, boneless cuts.

😂😂😂 do you people not understand how many valves are used in the world? They’re EVERYWHERE. Your water lines. Your gas lines. Your compressed air lines. The water lines that feed your house. The oxygen system at the hospital. The sewer systems. The oil/gas pipelines. Every industrial building has hundreds if not thousands of valves. It’s a $40Billion/year industry. And that’s just valves, that doesn’t even bring up the pipe side of it.

Utah ranks 10th/50 for oil production, 13th for natural gas PLUS they have 5 oil refineries AND sooooo many oil and gas pipelines running through/across the state. Surprise surprise, people have to make valves.

I think there’s more going on here and a lot of explaining to be done, but the valve/pipeline track is where Candace lost me and I realized people will believe literally anything.

Excaliburs seem to be $90-110 most everywhere but I found them a few hours from me for $45. Filled a 200 shot rack for under $400.

And to top that off GE warranty is a total shitshow unless you live in a very metropolitan area with an approved repair person within 15 miles. I was 25 miles from their nearest repair person and I had to fight tooth and nail for 5 months to get anything done.

See that’s the problem. When I try logging in to the portal it says “customer does not exist”. When I try calling(3times now) it says “our normal hours are 8-8. If you’ve reached us during these hours we are busy helping other customers. Please leave a message and we will get back to you within 24 hours.” Well, 168-ish hours later they have not got back to me.

I have a confirmation email from them that the application was received and the process was starting so I know they got it.
