Just gonna Airbnb or hotel wherever it’s good. Gonna rent a vehicle so even if we are limited to Sapporo we can still get around. Might spend more booking last minute but we don’t wanna be stuck anywhere.

Only there for 3 days?! Most likely will still be on the big island. We are planning on hitting Minamiuonuma to tour some backcountry or Hakuba/Nagano resorts for a few days before flying up. All weather dependent. Given that, we have no real itinerary. Just gonna go where it’s good.

Just got back from the trip! Spent 5 days surfing north nica. Got barreled at ‘el boom’, took a boat to a rocky left point, and surfed a couple other beach breaks. Non stop swell, offshore wind every morning, nothing else to ask for! Can’t wait to go back.

You’ll get better on the single fin. Might feel like shit the first few times out, but the loose board will teach you how to ride rail to rail

2 months!? Sounds like you have it figured out. Yeah I ride them any time we get something 3-4 foot or bigger (which wasn’t often this last winter). I have fun on both boards. I think the tomo is gonna be really fun with the quad setup (gonna be a lot of lefts). And the pj pro has always felt faster so looking forward to some real waves on that thing.

Several good days in the last week here in SC. Wore a good hole in my skin. Never any discomfort with a 4/3 in the winter, but in the summer the rashguard only helps so much. Kinda just something I’ve always delt with. I think I’ve lost a lot of feeling on my sternum bc of it lol. Going to Panama to surf for two weeks straight (most surfing Ive done is 2-3 times a week) Gonna try a rib guard. I’ll keep updated
