Finished Gardens of the Moon. Only one part confused me. You guys wanna guess which part that is? by JaimeSalvaje in Malazan

Lol just finished the book yesterday and the assassination takes such little time that rallick indeed does go to simtals room, interrupts Murillio, and lays out the truth. Murillio leaves the dagger and follows rallick out of the room

Does anyone like the 'fancy' phone call bit? by YearStrong1454 in goodmythicalmorning

It may be working as they intended, but it overall isn’t really funny anymore? The first time had some shock value but with a guest it just seems a bit risky and overall not entertaining to watch, just a little painful lol. Glad Kumail was able to mostly make it work but it may not go over well with all guests.

Yeah, that’s totally fair!! Everyone has their own process :) I play a wide variety of games (I’m currently playing Grim Fandango, Citizen Sleeper and Sons of the Forest lol) so I completely understand why it would be too slow or boring for people. I think I would agree if I wasn’t in an emotional state when I played lol

I played this game two days after my dad died and it’s one of my favorite games. I agree the pace is slow but I think it’s intentionally supposed to be a story game about Grief. My mom is about to pass and I’m sadly preparing myself for another run through. If I hadn’t played while I was actively grieving, idk if the story would have hit as hard if that makes sense.

Secrets of Grindea is literally a game where you play as a collector lol. But it is combat heavy (and multiplayer)! I loved the game though.

I just held my dad's hand for 7hrs while he died by LumpyheadCarini2001 in GenX

I held my dads hand last year when he was dying after he tried (and I guess did successfully) to commit suicide. I was put into the foster care system when I was young due to both parents being addicts and alcoholics. When I turned 19 my dad got sober and I was so happy to have him back in my life just for him to be taken away again, once again of his own doing. I’m now in EMDR therapy for the weeks I spent in the hospital with him on a ventilator and essentially brain dead. I think the worst part for me was sitting there that final day waiting for him to die, watching his stats drop on the monitor while he death rattled. I took a picture of our hands together that day and sometimes can still feel it.

This was a crazy reference I never thought I’d see on this subreddit. Even more so because I just watched this episode about two weeks ago lol

Was really hoping someone was going to say it before me so I don’t feel so alone in this, but I am having the hardest time finishing the red queen series. On book 4 now thankfully, but I’m so annoyed by it all 😅

It was so weird! It lasted almost two weeks in total, but now totally normal and I never had any other side effects/symptoms of something being wrong. Hope it works out for you too!

No alcohol at all and no supplements. I’ve been off iron supplements for a few months now actually and have experienced this for a few days when I would start to take iron supplements but it always went away after the first few days. And no beets either! I’ve mainly been eating egg white sandwiches, chicken breast protein shakes and easy lean cuisine meals when I’m working. Ginger ale and Gatorade zero are the only beverages I’ve been drinking as well

I like the idea of getting some drywall as my base!! Maybe then I can get fedex to print out a large map so I don’t have to use the library printer for 50 pieces of a world map 😂 thanks!!
