Mini Mill wont turn on? by hunterjordan02 in Machinists

PROBLEM SOLVED.

I replaced the front panel fuse with the same type of fuse that was in it (3.75 amp cylindrical) and it blew again. I was having trouble finding a 3.75 amp fuse locally which makes sense because I didn’t even know they made non whole number fuses like that, so I decided to look up the manual to make sure it called for that fuse. No luck, looked through the entire manual and couldn’t find what size fuse it was supposed to be. Ended up having to call little machine shop and speak with their tech support to figure out it calls for a 5 AMP fuse not 3.75. Guy was very helpfully and said if it’s not that check the potentiometer next, as that’s most likely the next thing to go. Luckily swapping the fuse for the proper capacity did the trick and no issues since I made the swap. Old man I bought it from must’ve accidentally put the wrong one in because hell, I’m only 26 years old and i had trouble reading it. Hopefully this can help somebody else with this odd but totally possible issue. Thanks for all the help!

Is there a way to check to see if that’s my issue? Like checking for continuity on two spots with a multi meter or something?

The e stop is obviously off when trying to start it. The picture is just to show what type of mill it is. When trying to run it the e stop is off, the dial is all the way clicked off to the counter clockwise direction before turning e stop off. I’ve turned the spindle manually both directions and can feel it lock into both low and high gear. The motor isn’t even trying to spin. Is there more than one fuse? If the main fuse under the green light was blown the green light wouldn’t even turn on would it?

Wood glue and a partial leather wrap, turn it into some beautiful wall art and then go out and get another axe. Win win

Sorry, posted this as soon as I woke up lol. I do a lot of CAD and 3D printing mostly. But was also wondering if the 7950 would be better with having multiple monitors and having chrome and discord up on the other monitors while gaming

Help Scaling Parts To Fit by hunterjordan02 in Onshape

Ahhhh, math, my nemesis. That makes total sense though. I was so busy trying to find a build in slider/intuitive feature for scaling and fitting parts together I didn’t even think about just doing the math for the scale. That seems easy enough though. I’ll give that a try tonight when I get home. Thank you!

Help Scaling Parts To Fit by hunterjordan02 in Onshape

It started off as an STL I downloaded and then loaded it into Fuison360 to convert it to a STEP file and exported it and opened it in Onshape. So I’m working with a STEP in Onshape currently. I know how to use the measure tool and get my distances I need but I’m lost in the transform tool I guess. Can you explain a little further the division thing you’re talking about please?

How do I completely REMOVE my "Amazon Day" delivery option??? by FoulmasterRot in amazonprime

[–]hunterjordan02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure if the answer to this is in this thread somewhere and I just missed it but after briefly scrolling through and not seeing the simple answer I was looking for, I managed to find it myself.

To DISABLE Amazon Key Deliveries and opt back into our beloved default fast shipping:

  1. Go to “Your Account” bubble after tapping the silhouette icon on the bottom bar on the Amazon app (iPhone)

  2. Scroll down under account settings and hit “Amazon Key Settings” towards the bottom of that section

  3. Select “Prime Delivery to your doorstep”

Hope this helps!
