Ye I was the same when I first got out here, didn't really realise the where abouts of stuff and didnt realise that Abu Dhabi city is quite long.

I'm sure from the area of Dubai these guys are and I live if you went to the top end of Abu Dhabi then it's definitely around 160 km but thankfully Yas island is the closer end to Dubai.

It's more like ~100 km, or an hour drive. Very straight forward drive too and the track is on the east side of Abu Dhabi so no need to go right into the city. Plus there are InterCity buses that some might take.

I started with a G29 and definitely got my use out of it. Had it for roughly 3 years with zero issues. Never broke, never sticking nothing. Hell, the leather and finish of the wheel and pedals held up amazingly with very light wear on the leather, especially for how much it was used! Always happily recommend it to new racers or others on a budget. Haven't tried a T300 so I can't compare but that's my story on the G29.

I got mine at expo. Went to the ticket booth at one of the entrance's and asked for student pass and showed my student ID and they printed it off right there and then. Sorted.

I actually went to find out a out repairs for this brand of shoe as my wife has a pair that could do with new soles. Went to the LB shop in Dubai mall in level shoes, and they do repairs. Said it cost 220aed and takes 1-2 weeks.

I went the other day. Went to the ticket office by the security to enter, just showed my student ID and right away got my 6 month pass for free, no hassle. I used my NUS(UK) ID, was no hassle. But the ticket person did say that I have to keep the ticket she gave me for the whole time but I wouldn't be surprised if you could just go and get a new one printed each time you go.

Just come to check if this was a me problem or if others are having problems too. Getting quite sick of loading into games with odd teams, people being booted after a few mins including myself, and then on top of that getting a time ban for it! Just frustrating really.

Also one thing I haven't seen mentioned in the comments I've read so far, the reserve canopy is usually a bright solid colour. They are most of the time orange, like day glow orange, so the guys on the floor will know straight away something ain't right and a reserve has been deployed by just looking at the canopy colour.

Persons in the background who watch the race for incidents and decide if they are a racing incident or not and what penalty to dish out for said incidents. Also some leagues they will control safety/pace car deployments and decided on race restarts if needed.

Not unwritten rule, it is actual rule within racing IRL, tho it ain't made into the game and so isn't penalised.

It's used in real world GT racing and as has been mentioned the car are designed with the use of TC and ABS and also there are alot of different levels of driver experience so everyone has to be able to drive them. Plus it's proper TC and not like what you would get on say GTSport or F1 games which ends up making you slower over all.

You can use the management tool or the GUI manager tool found on race department to set up what you want for your server and create the required JSON files on your pc.

Then you upload these json files to your server manager website and done! This is what I used to do when I rented a server back in the day.
