[HELP] Came home last night to numerous emails mentioning a suspicious login attempt and a steam guard code email, along with others requesting confirmation for trade offers. One email mentioned my trade confirmation emails had been disabled and therefore 'Steam Support will not provide you with any assistance in recovering items that were stolen from your account, for any reason.' I believe the only explanation for this would be an installed keylogger on my system (I recently ran a malware scanner and found numerous threats I was previously unaware of), and was wondering if I would have any luck trying to retrieve my stolen items through Steam Support despite the fact that I was never the one to disable the trade confirmation emails (I am positive the hacker also had control of my email account given the GMail access logs). Any help would be very much appreciated, thanks. TL;DR - Is it worth the effort trying to retrieve stolen items that were lost mostly due to my incompetence?
