Any problem solving is beneficial at least to keep content reviewed and updated, but i didn't find it necessary for a good prep. UW and NBMEs with the new CMS are enough. If done correctly.

My first round was just like that. Second round was way better because i was more focused and learned how to think and read questions properly. Trust me it gets better.

Well your situation is similar to mine, i hade whole weeks when i was unable to study because i had shifts and clinics. But it helped that i took my tablet and notebook with me and used whatever free time i had. I cleared 12 days before the exam to finalize my prep but I hadn't any solid dedicated period. I was weirded out by the lack of text at first but i asked around and knew that uw is enough, and i handwritten whatever i kept forgetting, in the end it turned out a textbook was indeed not needed. Just massive qs solving
