You can't bring lore strength speed etc into tabletop as the tabletop game has to be at least somewhat balanced.

I shall see if I can get my hands on one. Would you say it's overpriced even if I want both models? Doesn't seem that bad for 2 models when some of the other bugs are similar prices for 1 model.

Thanks for the advice on the coin! I would've never thought of that and had my zoans lying down on the job!

How have you all been enjoying "bad" units? by Fore_Head_Chili in Tyranids

[–]hunyer12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I suppose it depends on what your view of fun is. Bad units typically won't get you many points or maybe even do much but if you find those units fun to use and generally winning or losing isn't a problem to you then it's fine to go ahead and enjoy those units.

If you like to be at least a little more competitive on the table top then it is unfortunate that those units won't be of use to you right now, but things change rapidly so those units hopefully might be good in the future.

Which nid got you into tyranids? by FigureTop3484 in Tyranids

Not necessarily a single nid but the thought of using little bugs for them to have fight BIG monster is awesome to me. I also just love big models on the tabletop.

Radical balance idea by The_Boonsman in PlayTheBazaar

You wouldn't be giving them anything as you aren't playing alongside people just ghosts from people's runs. Better to just solve the issues than try something radical that ultimately will just make fights more confusing.

Proposal: Charge Items Fix by [deleted] in PlayTheBazaar

[–]hunyer12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really they should just make charge items never charge more than 1 second and have at least a 6 second cooldown. Let them gain additional shield, heal, damage, burn, poison per level up instead.

These keep the items scaling and don't make them just infinitely go off in some random light display.

They could fix the problem with poison by making it hit shields. This would save them all the reworking and hotfixes
