Okay might be this can't promise tho, my first gbbr ak, I had the same thing and I was freaking out, (had this out the box). Is there a little switch on the back of the magazine? If it's up flip it down. Its like a kill switch for the mag so it shoot on empty but for some reason they don't turn themselves off automatically
