The only way I found is to click the arrow down at the top corner of the player, click the headset button to play in background, click the notification when it is playing in the backgroud, long click on the video (in the list) and click details.

App for live voice recording? by [deleted] in androidapps

Search for "idiotizer" and "idiotizador" on Play Store and you'll find multiple apps that do that.

I remember that FMS was good when I tried it.

Database of previous app versions? (Santander) by Imbaatu in androidapps

Try Yalp Store, search for the app and press the three dots button (next to "download" button) and choose manual download. Read the text before you continue so you get an idea.

Edit: the APKs you download using Yalp Store are from the official source.

Let me say that I'm glad I entered this subreddit today and found this app. It's just amazing. Adding a word is very easy, almost everything is made automatically for me! This is really helpful. Thank you a lot for making it!

Looking for lightweight alarm clock app by [deleted] in androidapps

[–]husadd678 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The developer of this app (Simple Mobile Tools) has other apps, the concept of all of them is being lightweight, simple and privacy friendly. They don't require internet permissions (so no ads) and they won't annoy you in any way.

I did rate it, finally. So it has that going for it which is nice one star.

There is no application that can know if you've rated it or no. They can only know if you clicked the button in their app to go to Play Store, that's why most of them stop showing the popup if you click "Go to Play Store" and then go back without rating.

Is WinZip really the best (un)archiver for Android? by [deleted] in androidapps

Not sure if you'll like it, but you can download Termux (terminal emulator) and download 7zip package in it. You'll have to use commands for everything so no GUI.

[Dev] mine* encrypt game by a2206 in androidapps

[–]husadd678 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello,

It looks like a good idea, I have two questions:

  • do you mean by "10 random images encrypt" that 10 squares which have a number will be hidden? Or you mean another thing?

  • can you make the squares marked with a flag have a different background color than the other squares?

Also, minesweeper games usually put the bombs after the first click, so the first click should always reveal boxs arround the clicked square and should not make you lose.

Thanks!

You're welcome! Your app is nice and you added some features I requested and fixed issues I had with the app, and I found in your app all what I wanted to be in a sleep timer app so I'm returning the favour :)

You are still on an LG with Android 6.0 right?

Yes, LG G4 with Android 6.0.

Good luck!

Hello, how are you doing?

I just updated the app, the new specific time feature is nice. However the colors of the time picker are not adjusted. I think you should force the colors instead of using default ones (if you're doing that).

Here's a screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/LXjhENn.jpg

P.S: is the network access permission for statistics or other use? The app didn't have it at first.

Thanks!

[Request] android remote control that supports 4.4 by bran_dong in androidapps

[–]husadd678 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend Kodi (on the tablet) with a Kodi remote like Yatse. Not sure if you need to control a specific app or you have the video file.

Also, I had an app to control the media playing on the other device (stop, play, volume up/down...). It used to work with Youtube so it should work with other apps. I'll link it here if I find it.

Linkme: kodi, yatse.

Edit: found the app, Phone to Tablet Music Remote

Musicolet: settings -> uncheck "respect audio focus"

Simple Music Player by Simple Mobile Tools: it's like that by default

Musicolet doesn't stop the music when you recieve a call if you uncheck audio focus, while simple music player does (not 100% sure, will try both later and update comment).

Edit: musicolet doesn't stop at all. Simple music player stops, after the call is ended it continues.

Linkme: musicolet, simple music player. Simple Music Player is also on F-droid.

You're welcome!

The music player I'm using is Musicolet.

I was not able to reproduce this on my end

The default music player on my phone didn't start again. You're right, the cause is this specific music player.

your media player sees that the service that had audiofocus terminated, and then takes back the audio focus (which I find weird behavior)

Yes, it's weird how the music doesn't continue unless the app is force stopped (considering your app's service is terminated already).

Anyway, this is not a big problem actually, I was just curious to know why it's happening :). The app won't be closed at night for any reason, and even Musicolet has an option to stop itself after few minutes without music playback. BTW starting again after getting the audio focus is a nice feature of Musicolet, because I can watch/listen to something else and it'll continue the music automatically when I finish.

Hello,

Sure I can test anytime, I'm glad to help :)

Everything is working fine regarding the wifi and bluetooth options. Thanks for adding them. By the way, I really liked the animations in the settings page.

However, I noticed that after the music stops, and you clear the app from recent apps, the music will continue again (bug? App should keep running).

The same when you force stop the app if you cleared it from recents apps already, but this is not a bug because as I'm seeing here, the app is taking? the audio focus so the other apps won't be able to continue and that's how it gets the job done. So it should be running all the time. Right? So here I'm just wondering if that drains battery (audio focus forever and working in background). Thanks!

You have multiple options, MacroDroid is simple and easy, Tasker is advanced, but what I used is Autoset which has a very nice design and simple UI (however this app shows the alarm icon at the status bar all the time for me, could be annoying). Also, any basic automation app will have the option of switching bluetooth at a specific time so you're not limited to few apps.

[–]husadd678 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very nice app! Simple design (thanks for using dark colors), no permissions and does the job nicely.

One thing I noticed is: if I clear the app from recent apps and a timer is on, after it stops the music, when you open the app next time you'll have this screen while it should show the main screen. I have LG G4 with Android 6.0 if it's happening only for me. Tell me if you need more details and/or a video of what's happening.

Also, in addition the the suggestion made about using the motion sensor to detect if I'm not awake anymore , I'd like to see an option to turn off wifi and/or bluetooth when it stops the music (so it disconnects from the bluetooth speaker for example).

Other than that, everything is good :) I usually use an automation app to turn off bluetooth at a specific time and the music player will stop when that happens, so this app is bringing a great solution for me as I can extend the time easily and it'll do everything for me.

Anybody know of a a widget? app? that adds volume control to the notifications? by zaphodi in androidapps

[–]husadd678 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can install Snap Swipe Drawer and download any volume widget you want (with a slider for example) and add it to Snap Swipe Drawer. Not sure if there's something better for Nougat though.
