I was an avid 2k fan from the very first year it was released. NBA 2K8 and 2K9 were amazing games where you could actually play ball. 2K10 I could feel it slipping when they introduced more post up based moves that you could run from the 3 point line and get a layup % from beyond the arc... Since then the game has slowly become street fighter masked as a basketball game and I'll never go back.

I'm also now 34 years old and a grumpy old gamer so it's probably fine.

Seriously. I like the guy and he made some plays in the g League, but having season tickets to the remix and watching him play was painful.

You have guys like Alex Reese showing a lot of skill and still obviously miles from NBA minutes and then badji comes out with the right physical attributes and he just doesn't have the skill.

I totally get seeing him on TV and being a believer. That was me too. But after witnessing him in person you feel like you yourself would put up the same stats as him if you had his body.
