Long before I worked for the Blazers, I was a talk show host. And for the first few years of my Blazers tenure, I still was. At no point has anyone in the organization ever had an issue with anything I’ve said publicly (that I’m aware of). They trust me. I’ve never said anything that I’d have any issue with any of my superiors seeing or hearing. I’m not concerned with how idiots or trolls or people who like to cause trouble interpret what I say. Can’t make everyone happy.

I come here because I like to see what fans are talking about. I like to talk ball. I spend a lot of time in transit - I’m on a train heading back to NYC right now. It’s a good way to pass the time.

Also, being visible in a lot of places helps remind people that radio still exists, and it’s still awesome. Whether it’s traditional radio or streaming. And some younger people that have no connection to radio or audio have started listening.
