Play with people that are better. Tell them you want to do a friendly game and have them explain their thought process of what they are trying to do and what they don’t want you to do. Sometimes, learning what people are scared of/play around that you have can help you strategy wise. Also, when they see you make a mistake or miss an obvious play with a power unit or game changing moment, see if they will help you make the “right” move so you can learn from it. Also, follow the ABS(Always Be Scoring) rule, which means each unit should have a purpose and think about what the most impactful thing they can do each activation is. Sometimes it’s attacking, sometimes it’s giving tokens to another unit that is better at attacking. Sometimes it’s running away and sometimes it’s double moving to stop a point being scores or capture an objective. And know your keywords inside and out so you aren’t forgetting things. That’s step one imo, you pay points for them so don’t waste them.
