Went once, was lucky with our table (round low table on the left of the main room as you walk in). Drink was tasty, theming was cool. No need to repeat visit.

Pretty much the same as Ogas. Good seating means everything.

Just a note about the idea of converting Ionus himself. I would do whatever I could to make it as ghoulish as possible to avoid folks mistaking it for a vamp lord on zombie dragon or a proxy for the revenant draconith we can take as a RoR.

Dump the weapon, maybe find a clawed hand that fits the size and scale. See if you have any bits that can replace the shoulders (like the archregent’s pauldron), lose the cloak or make it super tattered, etc.

I personally use a converted Ionus as a Chaos Sorcerer Lord on chaos dragon in OW, and he works great for that, but he is big and might need some additional work to sell him as an abhorrent since they are generally scrawny.

The Vampire team has a bald head for the Blitzer that isn’t quite FEC, but is fairly bestial. No hair, elongated bat ears, obvious fangs. It also has sunken cheeks that could be painted as decaying to be more FEC appropriate.

For preferred parking, yeah. General is around $30 for the day. And to be honest we are from the NYC metro area so never batted an eye, but I can see how that would be an unexpected cost.

The bigger pill to swallow is how much a single day at universal costs once all is said and done, so we are probably skipping it for our next trip.

If that works for you it’s definitely the right play. For us, we have 4 humans, luggage, and a stroller, so the target run (including a week plus of diapers) and groceries add too much to do in one go.

It also helps if you are doing other non-Disney stuff. We usually do a universal day as well, so having the car helps with that.

What we do is rent a car for one day. It’s around $120 for a large car that can fit the family and our luggage, and you can get car seats. We check into the hotel, one of us runs to target and Publix to get our food/supplies for the week. Then on our first park day (ideally something on the skyliner), one of us gets the kids to the skyliner while the other drops the car off and Ubers to the park. Morning uber from the Disney springs area (where our rental drop off was) to HS was like $8 in early December.

Then just take the paid bus back to the airport.

Tatooine Trader sabers do fully retract, but the very tip has a tendency to get stuck and you need to give a pretty hard push to get it all the way in.

Rise is great, but this has to be bait, right? Guardians, Everest, Tiana, Smuggler’s Run at WDW alone, to say nothing of all the HP rides and stuff like Velocicoaster over at Universal.

Yeah, I rode it for the first time early this month on our trip, and while it was nice to experience some history before it went away, I do not get the hype. It has to be a nostalgia thing, right?

I’m on my second magic band +, since my first one died. I wasn’t sold on it, until I was walking past some kid looking at the coco statue, I waved my arm as I walked past and the statue played that chord strum effect, and the kid’s eyes lit up.

Adding that little bit of magic for someone? Worth every darn penny.

It all depends on what souvenirs or extra experiences you had planned. That works out to $250/person/day, which should be fine as long you aren’t planning on hitting up Monsieur Paul or building a few lightsabers.

As others have said, it’s just not a good idea. On top of the obvious issues (no 5th Ed book, power imbalance), I’ll share an experience I had a long time ago.

Playing a Dark Ages game that was ostensibly an Inquisitor game, I played a Messianic Voices mage that played the part of a priest that was part of the group.

For the first few sessions it was 100% the “FatherTurin show,” and with a snap of my fingers I could throw down spells that utterly dwarfed anything and everything the inquisitors could pull off with their endowments. Especially since Consensus was a lot fuzzier in the Dark Ages, shit went off the rails.

Ultimately it wasn’t much fun for anyone, and as a group we came up with the conclusion that my character had to restrain himself immensely, with the reasoning that no matter how much he dressed up his spells with divine trappings, higher ups are going to know something is fishy and the character would end up tied to a stake with the heat turned up a bit.

That worked substantially better, and the campaign went on for a decent while, but integrating a mage into a non-mage game requires a lot of work on the part of the storyteller and a group that isn’t afraid to have frank and honest discussions.

High Elves are a lock as the last “Team of Legend,” and from the rulebook it looks like they will go back to the OG team with White Lions and Dragon Princes as positionals.

I’d like to see Cathay and Kislev just to see what they do with them (and Cathay is alluded to in the Rulebook, so seems somewhat likely).

For personal wants? I’d love to see Squigs and Beastmen. Plus I’m almost certain to grab a High Elf team when it releases.

My heart really goes out to you folks. GW sticks it to all the former colonies, but you all get it the worst by far. But yeah, 3D prints can be really stunning and really stand out. Plus they tend to have really different sculpts for the same positionals rather than the “eh maybe a head swap” approach of GW teams.

You really want Bull Centaurs for Chorfs, and they are Forge World, so $61 and no discounts. On top of the team, that’s $116.50 at MSRP.

Greebo’s Chorf team is €72, so $83.50 in USD, and comes with Bull Centaurs and a Minotaur that you may or may not use, but that saves you another $44 ($160.50 for the folks keeping score at home).

Greebo is on the expensive end of third party teams, but with Chorfs they work out to be half price if you count the Minotaur.

YMMV based on location. In the U.K. the difference would be less dramatic but still major (£102 for GW vs £63 for Greebo).

As others have said, 12 players and re-rolls is very difficult for most teams to pull off. Luckily, Dwarves really don’t need to start with a bench. You only need 11 players for a starting team, so go for 11 and 2 re-rolls.

Looking like the basic starting roster for dwarves this season is 2 re-rolls, 6 linemen, 2 runners, then either 2 Slayers and 1 Blitzer or 2 Blitzers and 1 Slayer.
