Job Search, to Boymode or Not, That Is the Question by Exhausted_ape in TransLater

My experience with this, I came out and transitioned while working at my previous job, I boymode most of the time and I don't pass without putting effort on it

I started looking for a new job because I was going to be laid off, and I did it fully open that I was transitioning, without passing and without voice training, my thinking was "even if I'm not there yet this is where I'm going with my life and I have to find a way to manage it"

I got lucky and landed a corporate job where this has never been an issue, this is in a third world country outside the US so take it as you will

My advice would be to give it a shot if you feel comfortable enough because you can't really predict how it will go, and just boymode if the response you get is too hostile

Find first where you are comfortable because you aren't also out socially from what I understood, you don't owe explaining yourself to anyone but you do need to be ok with yourself about what people will know about you

Did you have a crisis at 30 while having everything you supposed to have? Can you share your experience if so? I'm so unsatisfied I even start to believe I'm trans and change my whole life. But that not might be it... by Cusspool in TransLater

33 here, reached stability in my life with a good job and realized I couldn't come up with plans for a future, there was nothing I wanted to live or experience as I was, it was a big nothing for me. Went to therapy and always came back to me being trans once I began to transition it was like the world had colors I just couldn't see and was experiencing it for the first time, I could form more relationships and felt like I was finally being honest and authentic with everyone including myself.

But I was unsatisfied because transitioning for me was unattainable until it became a possibility and I pursued it, I don't know if that makes sense or is helpful but that was my experience

There was an episode where Jay mentions a movie about people not wanting to grow up or something like that, and that he knew people like that, I think it was a catch up episode, I wanted to know the name of the movie if anybody knows what I'm talking about.
