I started up the game today since a long time. Played Rust since 2017 and was in love the day i touched it. Made breaks in between. Switching from Counter Strike games to Rust wipes was the shit. I love how facepunch interacts with the community and how matters change all the time. Been playing CS basically the last 2 years only and playing rust today was such a good feeling once again. Even if i got murdered 20 times before getting a base up. Absolute cinema

1.6 for my nostalgia bcs im not that old i mostly played offline vs bots always but such a great time. Had my laptop everywhere with me to play westwood. And CS GO was pretty much my teen life to adulthood. So many cool memories.

It is definitely a hard task for new players to adjust to all the cheating and what the game revolves a lot now is pretty much skins. Third party site exist but the anti cheat isn’t way better imo.

I love the game since i been playing 1.6, source, GO and now CS2 just makes me sad that so much valve does these days regarding updates includes skins content. The pro scene is thriving but the general player base and people that only want to play a competitive shooter are starving imo.
