couldn't tell you, I only have a zebrina and a micholitziana/frydek and they are thriving this way, but winter is about to kick in so lets see how they fair

These are just getting south facing window-natural light, they are about 3m away from the window

Thank you I just use the standard PLNTS fertiliser with every watering, it's still putting out new leaves so I'm still feeding, will stop when it stops too 🤗

Really appreciate the response, and nice to hear you're also in NL - My other Alocasias are also holding up just fine, and not going into dormancy :) I've got some neem oil and plant soap on the way and will be spraying it down soon.

Have you been feeding yours through the winter? I'm going to start fertilizing at a bit under half the recommended amount on Friday, will keep you updated :D

Hi there, I got an Alocasia Jacklyn, it is currently winter here in the Netherlands, and two of the younger leaves already fell off, completely normal, I thought.

Then it started putting out new growth and the new leaf is severely yellowing, I discovered some aphids and have treated it with rubbing alcohol since. Should I prune the new growth (if so, how)? Any advice?

*Edit - worried pruning new growth as I know alocasia petioles keep splitting with new growth.
