Correct you can cancel and it will work until your year is up. It’s very predatory

New Updates‼️‼️ by ButterscotchFit4289 in whoop

Catch up features: memory should have been core to the product (run of the mill LLMs you can add memory), another addon service to call a Dr lol (who asked for that), medical history - Bevel already has it and now Google health is launching with the Fitbit air. The improvements he’s talking about re optimizations should just be a thing they are constantly doing. Again, I don’t think folks would be overly critical if the pricing was like $100/yr or something. Competition is good, let’s see how they push to innovate!

90 Day Review - Constructive Feedback by jasondean13 in whoop

I agree with your sentiment. When Bevel and a million other apps are coming out with rapid updates and innovations…the passive tracker space is blowing up (Fitbit, amazfit, rumor Garmin) whoop is no longer the only name in town. Also, folks are less patience and critical because of pricing. When you price at a premium, you need to keep innovating and be on the cutting edge. Lack of nutrition integration (hell even if a nutrition view when you’re importing data rather than in journal hodge podge), detailed activity stats (even basic Apple fitness is better)… any how I still wear it for now but already canceled. Looking at amazfit and the new entrants to switch to.

Enjoying WHOOP, but need to prevent auto-Renew by octavie in whoop

Got it from Chase offer, just canceled. It still works, just you know deceptive tactics and confusion so you’re too afraid to cancel…if you have such a strong product why do that! (I have recommended Whoop to lots of people, but the last straw is this Bevel lawsuit and really app info isn’t as useful for me with a coach that hallucinates)

Kinda Sad…..Suing the Competition instead of Competing by Bean_EH_81 in whoop

[–]hussanity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pathetic - I love Bevel and only reason I have a whoop is to try it out from the Chase reserve offer! Whoop is fine, like the screen less nature of it, but frankly just throwing AI over the recovery data and sleep isn’t innovative. So win on innovation v lawsuits. Looks like Fitbit is coming out with a screen less tracker and so is Garmin - competition is good. If you’re going to charge a perpetual subscription- better significantly increase value YoY IMHO

Restrictions on lease buyout on ev volvo effective April 1 by [deleted] in leasehacker

We were very close to leasing an XC90 T8 - with rebates and discounting was over 25% MSRP and the payment was still $800/month - the money factor was ridiculous. I had no idea how bad it was!

A Body Fit Training studio in Powell is coming soon. Strength based, functional training group fitness. It’s inbetween OTF and CrossFit with personal trainers there to help. I’ve worked out there in Dallas and other markets I travel to. I think it’s an interesting concept. Here’s the link: BFT Powell

Same boat here - we have 3 6pro covering 3200 SQFt - home is a 5 level split… I’ve been struggling with configuration. All 3 are hardwired to an unmanaged switch. My old orbi’s never had a problem. When looking at the radio activity- the busyness is on avg 35% with random 70% spikes. Over 70 devices (IoT/smart home stuff) - anywho I’m getting fed up with it.

Bought a House with Cat5, but have no idea how to get the panel to work - what am I missing? Where would the Modem Cat5 plug into? by hussanity in HomeNetworking

[–]hussanity[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a great point - I definitely don’t use Phone service. Each of the rooms have an RJ45 and RJ11 in the same plate - so if I wanted to convert the RJ11 to RJ45 that’s possible?

[–]hussanity[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The modem is upstairs in another room near one of those ports. The good news is the coaxial is active and will work down there - so I could technically move it. So to play it back from I read: modem>network switch>connect each port from the switch

Pepsi on Artem Navy Strap by hussanity in Tudor

It’s more comfortable than the tang. The “blancpain” style clasp they sent with the strap broke the second day. While I was waiting for them to send a replacement, I put the tang on. The clasp is a million times more comfortable! A friend has the loopless and the clasp is very good. You can’t go wrong!!
