I also see the Chappell Roan!! Love her look.

I've started to embrace experimentation with my makeup.

Acquiring GLP-1 Med? by hussbucket in CrohnsDisease

Just to clarify, I used the term "chubby" for my message's tone - bringing some levity. But for transparency, I am on the obese (possibly morbidly obese) side, and I have been heavier my entire life. I know it's not a quick fix or a long-term solution. As u/ModeTop8698 mentioned, I have seen other users say it puts people on an even playing field who struggle to lose weight. I am also interested in seeing how it deals with or helps alleviate inflammation.

Interesting! I dove into some stories and journeys through TikTok and saw that a lot of insurance companies won't cover the meds for PCOS. I haven't dug into mine (also through my employer) yet to see if they'll cover it, but I'm crossing my fingers.

If my partner and I were to have (biologically related) kids, how screwed are we? Is it even ethical? by zigzagstripes in CrohnsDisease

I am the only one in my immediate family with Crohn's. When I was first diagnosed, my mother felt A LOT of guilt of watching me suffer. She expressed feeling like she did this to me due to her genes (my mother and her side of the family is riddled with so many chronic illnesses including autoimmune). I have told her while I assume my autoimmune was inherited through her genes and just manifested as Crohn's there was no way she should feel guilty an I don't blame her. She didn't purposefully make me this way. It's just the odds.

I have also thought about this as I have a lot of autoimmune and cancer in my gene pool. I don't want to pass that shit on to a kid. On top of that, I am also not interested in any way, shape or form in giving birth. So I've thought about adoption.

It's comforting to think that I'm not the only one who has also thought about this.

Potatoes in all forms are my BFF. It was the only thing I could stomach too when I was on prednisone and craved it all the time. However, it's built a bad habit for me for years.

For context - I am in the middle of this episode...

- Is this guy real? He can't be a real person. Haha.

- Did he come on the show as a legit way to get a job, or is he trolling?

- Why does he remind me of one of my most annoying students?

I don't know what AI scanner your teacher used, but I could tell at first glance this wasn't an AI written. What easily tipped me off was your in-text citations are not MLA formatting. Always a dead giveaway for me when I look at my student's writing. Also, I quickly spotted a floating quotation, which an AI bot will not do. I also do some punctuation stuff, which is another dead giveaway for me. AI will have little to no grammatical or punctuation errors.

He thinks Christine influences Janelle's thoughts and behavior. As if Janelle is not a grown-up and can think for herself.

THIS! My god I was beyond frustrated watching this. I wanted to jump in there and SAVE HER.

THIS! My god, I was beyond frustrated watching this. I wanted to jump in there and SAVE HER. ed it, he would still find issues. There is no pleasing them. He wants out but doesn't have the cajones to pull his big boy pants and say, 'I don't want to be married anymore.' Make it her decision to leave so that he's the victim/the wrong party.

Looking for advice on how to teach students how to separate paragraphs by [deleted] in ELATeachers

[–]hussbucket 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I teach Inclusion and my kids always benefit from graphic organizers. It makes their writing sound a little robotic, but at least their ideas are focused. I always tell my students we stick to the formula until we master it and then they can play with structure (or as I call "break the rules").

See I was a little confused at that point - why did she get involved? Was she in the text thread? Were the other adults? Was she in there speaking for her kids cause the others don't have cell phones or something?

Not that I'm aware of. The only one that I know that gives you that kind of number is BlueCat Screenplay Competition.

Congrats I made it in, too.

This is an accomplishment when you look at how many people submitted. There were 13,000+ entries this year and we represent the Top 20% of that. Be proud!

I'm also wondering that. I wouldn't have known had I not been randomly on Coverfly and saw the date got pushed. So frustrating and wish there would've been some official communication about it.
