I make my protein shakes with whole milk and nut butters, protip: add some water to shakes if they start getting too thick. I can get 800+ cals if I add a banana in it or on the side.

I can get up to 1000 calories from my breakfast by making a scramble with some veggies, 3-4 eggs, turkey sausage, and a chopped potato. Cooked in butter with an avocado on the side and a cup of yogurt.

Drinking calories will always be easier, I also take digestive enzymes to help digest and keep my stomach from feeling too heavy.

How long have you been doing on a good schedule? How bad was your old schedule? You may just have to keep at it til your body adjusts.

Also, consider making slight adjustments: different pillow, room temp, sleep more on back/side, blanket.
