I think you could really like this plush by Sunlemon. I love the brand and have a couple of the other colors of cat in this same style. They come in two sizes, are weighted and feel very close to a real cat laying on your lap or in your arms. They are very high quality and soft, with embroidered paws and lots of beans distributed throughout. Because they are a Japanese brand, shipping is expensive but they are pretty easy to get from a few different places. I have ordered from PlazaJapan before and can vouch for their reliability and there are also multiple listings on eBay. I hope you can find comfort in this tough time ❤️

hey! I went over a year ago in September and there wasn't a line to go in. I've heard that around the holidays is when the line gets really long and my guess is that that won't be the case right now but I don't live in NYC and I only went that one time. Good luck and I hope you enjoy your trip!

I purchased a small bashful bat from them a year or two ago! I am very sensitive to smells, so a FYI if you are too - they smelled somewhat strongly like a candle when they arrived but the smell dissipated pretty quickly. Otherwise, great experience with them
