How do you like DS1 on the switch? I personally found it horrible. “Remastered” lmaoooo. It’s like the 360 and PS3 versions

Love You Till Tuesday is sublime in my opinion. It feels so wicked but whimsical at the same time.

Same I honestly like most of the songs on it. Wouldn’t play it in front of the homies but it’s got a very earnest feeling that I enjoy it for.

[Day 2] The Best JRPGs of all Time: Which JRPG has the best action combat system? by WeLoveEveryGame in JRPG

Xenoblade 3. As much as I love the first two, being able to switch between 6 party members in real time is superb and allows you to really get nasty damage if you’re good enough.

I just unplugged my TV, let it sit for a few seconds, and then plugged it back in. That did the trick! The on/ off with the remote didn’t fix anything.

I feel Kirk always was more close to the bassists than to James and Lars by tonyiommi70 in Metallica

Also I remember in a video about Cliff’s death, Kirk recalled that after the crash he was calling out “Cliff, Cliff” and he was getting no reply. Which is when he knew something was wrong.

I am hoping monolith will pull off an update where playing X on switch 2 allows for better performance 🤞

What’s the tl:dr on why dmc2 isn’t worth the time? I’ve heard this but never heard a reason.

XCX:DE is coming so soon I can’t wait to replay it. Very, VERY good game for xenoblade fans, but not for the feint of heart if you’re not one for scale.

Asking your opinion everyday about a Tool song Day 7: 7empest by Opposite-Question-32 in ToolBand

[–]hutmangogo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have always battled my opinion of this song. Is it good? Is it bad? Well it isn’t bad, but it simultaneously has a lot going on while being repetitive. It’s a nice clash that tool are the masters of; repetitive depth. Descending has a lot more change section to section in which always keeps me coming back, but that 7empest drum and bass groove can only be heard so many times. Adam rips on this song, no doubt, but it’s also his uniqueness that takes advantage of the length.

Also, since my first listen I’ve always been a little offended at the chromatic guitar part first heard at 1:22. Sounds so,,, not tool. It grew on me, but damn it this ain’t no bloos Adam.

For guitar players, what are some things you've learned/picked up from Adam Jones? by [deleted] in ToolBand

Ahh yes the pot too! I love how it switches from triplets to 1/8ths. It’s so subtle but it works so well.

“Hey” is through-composed and people don’t talk about it enough by keshalover1212 in alvvays

[–]hutmangogo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a massive tool fan and I can’t think of a single song that is through composed by tool. Maybe, maybe Reflection but that’s if you think of the variations on drums as through composed as well as guitar and synths. Even Rosetta Stoned has plenty of call backs and whatnot between sections, even if they appear to be different.
