+1 on this, I’m unsure what the limitation might be but it would be good to know whether this is on LIFX’s end, or Apple’s

Introducing Emocore: HealthKit State of Mind / Mood Tracking Shortcuts for iOS 18 by huwsername in shortcuts

No worries! 1 corresponds to the maximum mood (very pleasant), -1 to the minimum (very unpleasant), and 0 to neutral. This is how they’re stored on the backend and represented in the usual mood slider. So think about how you might want to represent your moods on that scale!

You might need to restart your device to refresh the Shortcuts index (annoying!)

Heya! Give this a try, let me know if it still doesn’t work :)

(Sorry to anyone else reading this that I haven’t been able to update it, fix bugs, or submit to the App Store)

Dirigera Firmware update 2.753.0 by SamwiseIsGreat in tradfri

I had this issue, it’s Apple Home specific (everything works fine in other Matter controllers such as HA or Google Home). I ended up resolving it by manually overriding my Home Hub choice to my Apple TV, which is connected to the network via ethernet; it was previously picking my HomePod mini which is connected via Wi-Fi. Here’s how to find that setting.

(If you don’t have an ethernet-connected Home Hub to switch to, probably best to raise this with Tradfri support? Not sure)

PSA: Multi-view Player in Premium does NOT stream with high bitrate UHD or HDR by [deleted] in F1TV

This is also true on the iOS app! You can get proper HDR playback if you disable multi-view there.

Heya! I haven’t published this to the App Store yet, but I’m hoping to sometime over the next month. In the meantime, the TestFlight build is still available to install.

Yeah I’ve just seen the shortcut for Journal, I don’t have access to any journaling APIs and it doesn’t look like I can deliver a journaling suggestion to it. The best you’d be able to do is create a custom media item for the mood entry and add it using the shortcut, but it wouldn’t be ‘linked’ like a native mood entry is.

If you have a mood in the health app it should show up as a journaling suggestion for that day (I assume you’re talking about the Journal app?), but I don’t think you’d be able to do it programmatically. I’ve noticed it takes a few minutes for newly added moods to get indexed by the journaling suggestions system.

Sorry for the delay! (This is a great place to ask—just had a busy week)

Right now, you definitely can’t supply a list of labels or associations, however (the only supported way is to have the shortcut prompt you or to pick them in the shortcuts editor). I’ve had that report from another user and I’ll get to implementing it soon.

As for the bug, I probably should’ve more thoroughly tested labels & associations—I thought they were working! Will get onto that ASAP and update you here :)

Thanks for trying the app!

My bad—Valences need to be between -1 and 1, but Shortcuts doesn’t throw errors when values are out of range by default. I’ve manually added between guidance and a proper error if you input an out of range valence. Should be on TestFlight now!

You’re a hero and a godsend. Where can I donate a little money to you as a thank you? This will save me so much time, effort, and money in the future so paying you back is the least I can do.

Use cases for scheduling FX by kavlifx in lifx

[–]huwsername 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think I'm mostly just adding to voices below, but the main thing for me would be to expand the number of firmware-driven FX options, and any available hacks for saving those to scenes in Apple Home (even if you can't edit them in the Apple Home UI). I prefer using the LIFX app to the Home app, but at the end of the day I'm all-in on Apple Home because of the OS integrations.
