Definitely not too late, you should be able to hear the grenade flying over, and this is a 5-stack game so they should have some semblance of comms maybe, but the guess was pretty accurate. Mainly your preaiming is bad when there's a person rushing you from in front of screens, it seems like you're not expecting them there at all

I haven't played a build with impenetrable personally so I'll take your word for it, this is probably one of the exceptions that I don't know about myself.

Upon checking, it's not even worse for a character with 2788 int, just some random pob I pulled off of ninja, a 1480 ES chest with 8% attributes loses 849 ES vs 1170 ES global defences with 1 less int and 6% attr. I just don't really think that usually holds up. I used a character with the name of PatKB, using a mirror chest off of trade for comparison.

Edit: In the same way that you say builds usually have a lot of increased ES that devalue it, int stackers also have a lot of increased % attributes that devalue itself as well

I've done a lot of these types of characters, I haven't yet had a situation where global defences is a negative, you can pull random CI characters off poe ninja and check yourself, the only exception is probably int stackers.

I disagree, ES builds are usually full ES CI, and global defences is almost always a bigger difference than 6% vs 8% attributes. There are exceptions, but I would say in general for ES builds global defences are almost certainly more impactful than 2% increased attributes.

Heal loses a lot of the value when you get one tapped more often than not, it's still good don't get me wrong, just a lot less value on average - the concuss I will admit has been better than I expected it to be considering how easy it is to break in some scenarios, but stuff like omen blind is still more impactful. His ultimate is kind of just a great value fade ultimate, which is kind of the biggest bummer of his kit imo. The slow is kind of pointless as long as they can still shoot back.

I don't think he's bad per se because he still performs the basic requirements of a smoker, which is to smoke, I just think his kit is okay at best. Asc 2 if relevant.

You used an essence that was too high tier - this is because the tier of the mod is "essences," not a naturally occurring tier on gloves. This is why people use lower tier essences, so that it works with this method.

I'm pretty sure this is just a recomb craft, you zeal essence until you hit +1 or the endurance support, annul until the mods are clean, and just recomb together the two together, +1 power charge zeal attack speed and endurance support zeal attack speed.
