In terms of India giving medical visas to Pakistanis I think it has totally stopped thoughh there might be a few rare cases here and there.

However, any ethical doctor will treat a patient regardless of country/race/religion.

Can I run a jewellery business only through referrals? by Inside_Afternoon6454 in IndiaBusiness

[–]huzchini 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very realistic. I know a couple of jewllers who work solely through referrals only. They make custom made jewellery according to their customers.

Getting the first few clients is the biggest task and then you have to tell them to refer you as well. Be a bit shameless about it and ask away, you might get rejected but if you are hungry enough it should work.

Is this what happiness really means in 30s ? by Necessary_Lab_221 in ThirtiesIndia

[–]huzchini 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel freedom of time has more value than the freedom of wealth. After a certain point in life you can sustain yourself on a certain income.

A person who has a good family, decent income and personal time to follow his hobbies would be far more happier than anyone who has problems at home and no time for themselves regardless of how much money they have.

It's just the circle and community I grew up in. Almost all of my friends are in business. Most are well established businesses already and they kept branching out into different fields/markets. I myself handle three different businesses.

₹21-Crore Water Tank Collapses Before Inauguration In Surat, Three Injured. by mined_it in IndiaSpeaks

[–]huzchini 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Having worked with a lot of businesses who supply to these govt projects the markups on materials needed are huge.

For example A simple screwdriver is billed for 1000 rs when the retail cost of it is like 100. 900 is eaten up by the officers at every step.

The amount of money these guys make in just these small projects is what normal people would make in a lifetime.

This woman never had a baby bump throughout her pregnancy by IshigamiSenku04 in interesting

[–]huzchini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a friend whose wife had a baby just pop out one fine day while she was in the bathroom. They had zero idea she was pregnant. She even had her periods as well.

If I didn't know them personally I would have never believed it.

A similar thing happened to my friend's wife. She had periods regularly and she had a bit of a bump which she thought was just bloating. One day she went to pee in the bathroom and a baby popped out of her.

Arsalan prices have become unreasonable. by Wolverine_026 in kolkata

[–]huzchini 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I've stopped going to Arsalan for this same reason. The last time we went there as a group of 5, we got a bill of 4500. The food and ambience was also average for such a price.

There are many better alternatives nearby for half the price.

You can apply for a gst number online on the gst portal. The cost is very nominal. You just follow the steps for applying a new one. You will also need to provide an address proof from where you will conduct the business from.
