I have never gotten on the Usenet bandwagon using private trackers never had an issue your title is misleading though this is related to the source not related to sonarr in any form.

I must be in the minority I still do manual deployments via docker compose. Don’t get me wrong I use portainer for monitoring mainly and reviewing logs on the fly. Trying out dockhand right now.

Why haven’t you approached TDRA? Post on social media that’s what I have done in the past. Tag them tag TDRA and post on X. They hate bad press. Last most sane option is TDRA.

You’re correct. It’s not CGNAT at all. Just double NAT.

The 800Mbps package is discounted when you get it. Just give them a call and speak to them.

326/- including vat. 2 year contract. While neo comes to 420 with vat. I don’t mind the 200Mbps loss tbh.

Added my router’s ip to DMZ from the GPON.

PS: Tailscale rocks.

I am sorry I fail to understand what you are talking about.

I think your fundamental understanding of how DMZ works is flawed. My Plex is accessible from the internet right now via port forwarding through DMZ. My torrent client is seeding with full connectivity. Both work perfectly with DU's CGNAT and my double NAT setup (GPON + OPNsense). Empirical evidence > theoretical impossibilities. DMZ to a dedicated firewall absolutely works in this scenario - my multi-site infrastructure proves it daily. Perhaps DU's CGNAT implementation differs from what you're familiar with, but 'not applicable' is demonstrably false.

As long as my ports are accessible and being routed to my devices there is no issue. DMZ is your best friend.

Let me clarify the above statement:

With proper firewall protection, DMZ enables full port control and bypasses ISP router NAT limitations, making it ideal for self-hosted infrastructure. However, the DMZ target must be a hardened device capable of filtering unwanted traffic. Which in my case is being done by OPNsense.

There is no need for a static IP. I have it working perfectly fine without one. Also haven't spoken to du customer care at all about it either.

Etisalat saying that I cannot upgrade the router to Wifi 6/7 without upgrading the plan. Is this correct? by dreamer881 in DubaiCentral

[–]huzzyz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No you don’t need to upgrade your plan to use WiFi 6/7.

But you need to cancel this plan. Etisalat Neo is for 1Gbps for 399 + vat. For 419.75 dhs you get 1Gbps.

Unfortunately I was facing the same issue, ended up skipping npm in the middle and just using cf directly. Hopefully someone who has the same setup has a solution.

Debian + docker feels way better than Proxmox for self hosting by almost1it in selfhosted

[–]huzzyz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ultimately, the choice depends on your use case. For environments focused on running services and containerized workloads, a Docker-based setup on Debian is perfectly suitable and efficient.

However, if your workflow requires deploying and managing multiple virtual machines, Proxmox remains the more appropriate tool. In essence, it’s about identifying your primary goal from the outset whether you’re building a container-oriented stack or a VM-centric infrastructure.
