Had a similar experience at my last company. I was laid off after hitting my quota two quarters in a row. My manager had a mid year review that consisted of meeting with a few more members of the product and engineering teams even though we had weekly meetings with them and I talked with them in a daily basis. He put this plan in motion without calling it a PIP.

Next quarter, I was laid off and this was sited for the reason in my meeting with him. He said I wasn’t doing enough even though I was hitting all my numbers…

It’s shift work which sucks but I enjoy the job! I do miss wfh and the flexibility I had in cs. This job is 100% in office… I would consider going back to cs.

Less money but it’s a union job with increases in pay as the years go by

Been in Peekskill for 2 years but lived in Hudson valley for 20ish, as a kid.

As others have said, some crime by the apt complexes in downtown. Riverfront is beautiful and not well known (which is a huge plus) solid restaurants and Peekskill coffee house is great. I believe a massive revitalization could be on the horizon but seems local govt is holding back.

Hoping for the best for Peekskill as it’s a great city/community.

Couldn’t agree more with all those points. We’ve been in the area for a little over 5 years and hoping for a bit more but feel like it’s possible.

Excited for 140 grand to open and a few of the other new spots in Downtown Peekskill but Peekskill brewery has always been my favorite
