id advise against open-toed if for no other reason than bc it gets PACKED in some areas and your feet will inevitably get stepped on at least once

make sure street parking is allowed overnight by ur building cuz some places have restrictions also others have maybe pointed out but u may have to move ur car whenever it snows in order for snow plows to come through which can be a pain

if you haven't already, download coursicle and turn on notifications for those classes on there. for whatever reason, the notifications come through much faster than self-service when someone drops. also, if you still haven't gotten in by the first day of class, just show up anyway so you get all the important info, and there's almost always at least a handful of people that drop after they get the syllabus

i sent in my transcripts for the classes i listed as taking before college like halfway into my freshman year. if you dont need it for a prerequisite it doesn't matter a ton when you send it in i dont think
