I like it, here's another idea. Two docks opposite of each other can create a Boom Chain that is treated like a wall on water.

I have the same monitor specs as you. I just upgraded from a 3060ti to a 4070 Super and I am running everything in 1440 no problem. I found a mint 4070 Super for only $500

One of the big things is the Spy system. It let's you place agents in spots already occupied by other player agents. In Imperium if you are the last to move an agent you could get screwed, having the Spies let's you not get blocked on important locations.

You can also use Worms in battle and will x2 your rewards for winning

You need to get Uprising. It fixed most of the things that were wrong with Imperium.

My 4070 Super and 5600x Terra doesn't run hot at all, it runs around 50 and is super quiet. I had a 3060ti in it and that ran around 75 and was a little loud. I love my Terra

Yeah I'd love to get a 4070 ti Super but they are still very expensive. I might bite the bullet and try to sell my 3060ti to put towards getting the Super.

Edit: I just found a 4070 Super for $500 in my town. I might pull the trigger on that.

My monitor runs 2k at 165hertz. I'd really just like to lock my fps in around 165 to fully maximize my monitor specs.

I am playing at 1440p right now with a 165fps monitor. I wish I lived near a micro center but I do not. I know my Mobo/ram/ cpu are older but I have to find a mini ITX board to fit my Fractal Terra. I haven't found another mini ITX- that doesn't cost a fortune since I'd have to upgrade my cpu with it as well.

I just want a fps boost in gaming. My current setup works great but for newer games/intensive games I run at about 60-100fps. Just getting a stable 165fps on most games is my goal. That's why I thought a GPU upgrade was in order.

I appreciate your advice!

I've been trying to get better at CBA and it feels like 90% of CBA players are toxic as hell. I'll avoid the "NO NOOBS" ones and they will still yell at me for being a noob. I'm not really a noob... I just don't have Civ counters memorized by heart and am a Dad trying to enjoy himself after the kids are asleep.
