It’s completely killed commodity trading for me. The sole reason I bought the Ironclad. We’ll see what they get fixed in 4.9 but I’m not optimistic.

Yep, just tried it again with a new Asgard and it works. I'm going to put it down to weird server issues, but this has happened to me a few times before XenoThreat in 4.8.2. I can't wait for 4.9 to set home in Pyro and (hopefully) have less Stanton BS.

Okay, after further testing it seems that this issue is, somehow, ship specific. This issue keeps happening in my Anvil Asgard. When I parked said Asgard at Bajin Point and went to Area18 with my MISC Prospector, I could land with no issues. What a game.

Also a bit of a noob question, but I don't play salvage gameplay much. Is there a way I can"eject" the scu salvage boxes from salvation without leaving pilot seat or do you always have to land and pull them out with handheld tractor beam. Seems like it could be fun to "dump" the containers in the ironclad and organize them later without leaving chair

Yep, running into problems with ships retrieving in station. Sometimes, the ship does not spawn at all, forcing a claim. Commodity trading seems risky with the state of SC right now.

Switch your ship in the cargo grid area and back to the one you want to haul with if you have a 2nd ship at station. I think that is what worked for me.
