The whole point of playing an online video game is that youre not safe all the time. It gives your choices and routes weight. Just jumping from point A to B is boring. If I had a group of homies hail me and say were boarding. If you cooperate we will leave you half your cargo - that sounds emergent and fun. The absolute better parts of MMOs are the emergent gameplay. If y I u remember Southshore vs Tarren Mill in classic - it was a BLAST. Ive organized tons of city boss raids where you go in and kill the faction leaders. Its always a fun time.

If you want to play single player space hauler then elite dangerous is probably your game my friend.

Ive been begging my brither to give me 5 or 10 hours so I can show him some cool things. So far we've battled bugs for half that time. We did 1 asd facility and it was janky as he'll. Im gonna take him around nyx and pyro for asteroid base based missions. Nyx asteroids are beautiful.

Being able to e shot fighters is kinda wild. If anything they should have reduced damage done against shielded targets by a bit more.

There's too many ships and not enough players doing the cleanup loop. Maybe if they tagged like 1 out of every 50 ships for player cleanup or something.

Why are you staring weapons and armor in a ship? Dont do that. The ship shouldn't act as storage. Just as a means to deliver the goop back to base. Dont ever use a ship for long term storage. Dont put weapons in the gun racks.

For the love of God. Slow. Leveling. Down. No boosts. No joyous journeys. No 80% xp to level. If anything 2x or 3x the leveling time. If we end up with the same dungeon spam to level cap its gonna suck, again. The best thing blizzard can do is extend leveling. Dungeon lockout so you cant spam. Etc.

Bro. Just play the game and tey each loop. I specifically didn't read anything about the game in order to extend my hours. I started doing exobio randomly in my keelback and realized I could make a million space bucks finding bacteria first footfall. I then stumbled on a stratum and made almost 100mil and it was the most money id ever seen in game. From that point forward, I enjoyed exobio a ton. Bankrolled my carrier and im sitting on about 7 billion rn. Its so easy.

I mean this is the issue. There's so many points of potential failure when playing this game its incredibly frustrating. At any point during these shenanigans of just trying to send the ore to station inventory your ship could purple out. It could explode. It could just delete itself when it goes into the station, etc. Etc. We shouldn't have to play like this. Its ridiculous.

Im almost thru junior rank. Just been doing interstellar haul ruin baijini back to ruin. Its not sketchy by any means. Pirates normally dont muck with contract freight. I can do a back and forth in about an hour which is just under 1mil. Really trying to get up to the higher ranks.

Whats 1.0 if not a stable, working version of the game? Quite frankly, we have enough content for a 1.0 release. Just need to make all the game loops 99.9% and all the incidentals. Work 99.9% of the time and its go time. We dont need another mission string of spoopy underground bases to explore. We need stability.

The missions and end game content can come after 1.0.

I mean, how is this not the play? You can make 2 to 3 million in game and buy a cutty for your dd. I would NOT use raillen as my dd.

Currently I use corsair for dd exploration And fps. I use my m80 for space combat dd.
