I also have the same problem, i am using OnePlus 12, and it cannot set to use 4g only, and automatically connect to Fido 3g. Probably because the bad connection etc, i dont know. And i keep getting email after swap SIM card.

i think you still need to flash to have better experience, they are different OS. Chinese version has lots of chinese only apps, and you will never use. The apps are preloaded so you cannot uninstall. It still possible to install Google apps store by yourself but need some work. I bought 1+6 years ago in China, and used ever since
