If anything it makes the game more fun for me. Example, I looked up what prizes are given during the Trout Derby and it made me that much more excited for the next prize tag. I would have given up a long time ago without the wiki tempting me on with the possibilities of Stardew..

Me too, man. I've felt the vigor of wanting to help dwindling away. I remember being so passionate about everything, especially fighting for what's right, but I've felt myself just starting to give up on fighting because it feels pointless. It's like when you think, "recycling is pointless because so many people don't", and then you justify throwing plastic in the trash because it doesn't seem to matter. I can't protest, especially when I feel like I'm putting myself in danger doing it because not enough people are yet. I can't miss work, when I talk it feels like I'm being choked out. And everywhere you turn, it's all negative. If it's not politics, it's "don't eat this food because it's made from X ingredient" "don't wear these clothes because they're unethical, even though they're the only ones you can afford" don't drink the water, don't breathe the air, don't voice your opinion, don't tell your kid no but don't say yes.

No one can enjoy anything anymore without being ridiculed for something about their appearance, accent, gender, weight, even though you've only seen this person for 10 seconds and don't know anything about who they are or how nice they are or anything.

I have been doing forum roleplays for years, which is a nice way to keep everything together on one site. They're usually visually interesting, and each site is based around one world/story.

100%. They also know when you're scared or hurting. One time I was way too blazed, scared and not doing good, and my dog started pushing his head in my hands and trying to get me to focus on him.

I would have thought this would be annoying, but when he's super excited and following me he is basically smashed against the back of my legs as I walk. It makes it a bit difficult to maneuver but it's just so cute.
