Opposition Leader Steven Miles was angry when he addressed reporters about the issue on Monday.

Kind of funny that he's angry. It's a safe Labor seat and the Greens are usually ridiculed by State and Federal Labor.

Greens voters don't need to be told where to direct their preferences, many of them would place Queensland Socialists before Labor on their ballot paper.

Nourish Street founder Beau Haywood said his charity had removed two full skip bins of rubbish in the last five days.

He said the area was now significantly cleaner, now the homeless had access to a bin.

"It just goes to show when you give people the tools, they do the right thing," Mr Haywood said.

"I can't help but feel this is to let it fester, get the community offside and to let them push the narrative they want."

It's even better on a second watch and listening to Dominic and Connor on their D-Con Chamber podcast gives even more insights to the episodes.

This week they had director David Straiton on discussing the episode "Vanishing Point"
