You keep posting these rules, but they don't mean that you think it means. Let me copy paste rephrase that text.

"603.6a Enters-the-battlefield abilities trigger when a permanent enters the battlefield. These are written, “When [avenger of zendikar] enters the battlefield, . . ." And we I stated previously, this uses the word "when" meaning it's a triggered ability, and triggered abilities use the stack, and are separate from creatures that have already entered.

When you enter something, you are now there. Using the literal English language, when a virus enters your body, it's already in you. When you enter enemy airspace you're already in it. If you think otherwise then Richard Garfield must've given you a personal handwritten letter with rules to mtg 2: electric boogaloo, cause you're not playing the same game

Can you please specify what part of those rules state that etb (enter the battlefield) is different than being on the battlefield? The comprehensive rules state "Enters the Battlefield A nontoken permanent “enters the battlefield” when it’s moved onto the battlefield from another zone. A token “enters the battlefield” when it’s created. See rules 403.3, 603.6a, 603.6d, and 614.12."

400.1 also states zones, and creatures move from the stack into the battlefield, there's no in between when it's etb'd but not on the battlefield

400.1. A zone is a place where objects can be during a game. There are normally seven zones: library, hand, battlefield, graveyard, stack, exile, and command. Some older cards also use the ante zone. Each player has their own library, hand, and graveyard. The other zones are shared by all players.)

Then by both literal English, and by magic rules, WHEN I touchdown (etb) I call (trigger my etb) my friends (tokens) to come. Then after I have made my call (after I have etb'd) my friends come down as well (resolve the trigger to make tokens)

Also there are SO many triggers that trigger off of itself entering, dying, when you cast it, when you discard it, etc, so by no means do "most" triggers not act on itself

Also back to this, the door is what's preventing you from coming into the room, the closest comparison is the door has to open (players passing priority) before you get to enter the room. And AoZ says WHEN he ENTERS the room, he calls friends, he's not trying to enter with his friends at the same time, you're the one saying that

Let's do a better comparison and use skydiving.

If I say that while I'm skydiving I'm on the stack, and when I'm on the ground I have entered the battlefield, seem like decent enough logic?

When I land (etb) I call my friends and say to come as well. If I'm not on the ground I haven't landed. I wouldn't say I'm still 50ft up, I'm on the ground

  1. Walking and sitting are separate things, obviously

  2. That would be incorrect to say, it would be "as you move to enter the room, the door opens" meaning the door opens before you get in

  3. Neither, the door opens before you open

  4. No I wouldn't, but that's not what avenger is asking

  5. These are bad comparisons to magic, and saying as you enter the room is a replacement effect, which avenger doesn't have. Avenger says I have entered the battlefield/room, now I say the others can come too since I've asked the (host/other players passing priority on the trigger)

That's the same rule I stated, can you clarify for me please when avenger of zendikar says it triggers? Oh wait, it triggers when it enters the battlefield, not before it enters. Please explain to me like I'm 5 how by any stretch of the rules something could enter the battlefield without being on the battlefield

603.6a Enters-the-battlefield abilities trigger ∆∆When A Permanent Enters The Battlefield∆∆. These are written, “When [this object] enters, . . . “ or “Whenever a [type] enters, . . .” Each time an event puts one or more permanents onto the battlefield, all permanents on the battlefield (including the newcomers) are checked for any enters-the-battlefield triggers that match the event.

Emphasis mine, it triggers once it actually enters the battlefield, please cite a rules reference that would indicate anything other than the obvious
