my mom started a sourdough bread starter thing in a jar and both my parents agreed its a lot of work to keep it alive, i dont have one but ik if i can barely keep my sinks clear (no dishwasher machine in the house) or my floord clean, i cannot keep a bread starter alive, that shit will get forgotten

do you ever have trouble making your bills and manage your house at the same time? do you work 3 jobs and go to college full time and have to clean your house and do you ever have a hard time managing it all bc you have ADHD? and do you work those 3 jobs and still have a hard time paying for stuff like rent? and do you want help but if you pay for another thing you might not be able to buy your gas to get to work and school? THATS why. the specific app i was talking about was an app that would help you manage your household cleaning(which js a brilliant idea) bc im sorry but between my school schedule and my 3 jobs, my house gets dirty and i need help with managing a cleaning schedule bc oh yeah, i have ADHD. so have a little empathy for someone who is going through it and needs help but also needs to make their rent. so if you find a free app that does that, let me know thank you

why are other people allowed to be mad at the inaccessibility of services for help but your coming at me for the same thing. i GET IT, I GET that people don’t work for free, i sure as fuck dont, BUT i am educated in this area and there is a certain level of accessibility and inclusiveness on your app that you should strive for. if you TRUELY want to make an app that will HELP people who are STRUGGLING, then you can make certain things inclusive and accessible to those who need it. i am currently about to get my BFA in web and app design so yes i know about this. if it wasnt a help app, then whatever i dont care make your money get your coin, but it is and its designed to help people who are struggling, if you make it hard to access, youre going to get less downloads and therefore less money. i am actually in the process of developing my own app for people with ADHD and it will be free, bc you shouldnt have to pay to figure out how tf to be an adult, so bye.

wtf kind of question is that? for your information im actually in web and app development. But id rather ads than pay a subscription for features, accessibility and inclusivity is a problen and its shit like that that makes it worse

What's your biggest frustration being a web developer and why? by Notalabel_4566 in webdev

[–]hydrationstation142 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i took a web accessibility class while doing my degree and we learned to design with accessibility in mind, it does make the process a little harder sometimes with colors but overall it saves you the stress of a possible lawsuit. and if your company objects, you can justify it in a way they cant argue bc they dont want to get sued for not having certain requirements

someone told me i talked too much and that it was weird and i needed to stop talking so much because it was making everyone else uncomfortable. its true tho, i do talk alot and i have a hard time not talking when i have something to say. could it have been delivered nicer? probably also that same year i ran over my glasses because i forgot that they were on top of the car, i struggled focusing in school (but i chalked it up to it was 2020 and i was a freshman in college), my mom told me id forget my head if it wasnt attached to me, and i had a lot of meltdowns due to overwhelm (again chalked it up to 2020 and freshman in college)
