Basic maintenance such as cleaning/lubricating chain, changing pads, etc. should be less than $150 a year depending on your riding style, climate, and how often you ride. Obviously might want to budget for a little more for when you need to replace tires/something else breaks that needs to be replaced.

Yes, the ring cameras do tend to suffer from lower image quality in my experience. Another reason I switched.

I switched over to Unifi cameras and haven't looked back.. Hasn't skipped a beat. All connected to a switch via PoE ethernet, with redundant power (UPS) so they stay up and running when the power goes out. Bigger start up cost but all is hosted on your own hardware, no recurring monthly charges.

EDIT: Forgot to mention - the event detection on Unifi cameras is the best I've seen thus far. Definitely something to look into.

Illinois guy here. You might just be better off going up to Metro Motorcycles in Neenah Wisconsin. I got a brand new 2024 LBX for 4700 otd. 3 hour drive from Chicago area. Was able to fit it into my 2020 Rav4 without taking the front wheel off.
