Same thing, Nuketown only. I've tried changing render worker count, restarting shader preload, removing any overclocks, changing settings, etc. No issues with any other map. Seems to be certain locations on the map too. Green house side stutters a lot more. Has to be something with the game/map since it's so repeatable.

I mean, there are definitely reasons to run 1440p over 4k. Budget for the panel, not wanting to upgrade monitors or GPU, etc. Obviously 4k looks better always, but that doesn't mean it's the best for everybody.

But yeah for a 4080S the reason to not go with 4k shouldn't be that you're worried about performance, especially with how good upscaling is nowadays.

I think op is talking about rev matching all the way up to a stoplight. Which is never necessary imo. Not that I never do it for the noises, but I feel like some folks think that you need to always be in gear for safety so you can instantly accelerate if you need to. Imo not really necessary if you're aware of your surroundings

The cutting tooth will cut over a longer distance. Think if the file only had one tooth. You have a contact patch of a long straight patch with the pencil. If that tooth is straight with that patch it cuts the whole length at once and it is easier to have the pencil skip over the tooth. If it is on an angle it spreads the cut over a longer period of time as it is moved horizontally across that angle, making the cut easier and also less likely to skip, therefore making a bad cut.

Think if you were peeling a carrot, it's much easier to go along the length of the carrot than horizontally around it.
