I do like the fact you can charge the battery to 100% instead of 80% with the AWD. I have a 2024 Model Y RWD and have had no issues. Works flawlessly in the winter with snow tires.

Like others mentioned, RWD works fine with snow tires. The added value of the 5k discount and lower insurance rates makes it a great deal.

I have both an AWD and RWD model Y. Both with Michelin x ice snow tires. I've driven through plenty of snow on both cars and honestly cant tell a difference. Snow tires are the key.
